When Nat Love is rumored to make his return to the Boston Saloon the good, the bad, and the sexy gather for the occasion. A new school western, set in the real Boston Saloon (1864-1875) in Virginia City, Nevada and inspired by a few historical people and events.

Excited to be home at last, Brian Baez is honored to share NYE with his Richmond family. Since leaving Virginia in 2015, Brian continues to make waves in the entertainment industry both in his new home in St. Pete, FL, and internationally as a casting director; traveling worldwide to cast ongoing productions of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Kinky Boots, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical,  Jersey Boys, and SIX!

In his new home in Florida, Brian has had the honor of performing all around the Tampa Bay area, but most notably with St. Pete’s own “Florida Björkestra”, headlining their sold out concert Something Sacred: The Music of Madonna and George Michael. Richmond credits include work at Barksdale Theatre, Virginia Rep, Firehouse Theatre Project, Swift Creek Mill, and Richmond Triangle Players’ productions of La Cage aux Folles, Pageant, Cabaret, Psycho Beach Party, and his sold out cabarets God Save The Queen and Chemo: The New Atkins.

Don’t Make Me Sing promises to be a fun evening of nostalgia, camp, irreverence, and reflection.

Brian’s musical director Thom Culcasi is no stranger to the cabaret stage, working from coast to coast and everywhere in between. Favorite collaborators include Alice Ripley, Liz McCartney, Brian D’Arcy James, Carson Kressley, and Melissa Manchester. Other favorite ccredits include Jerry Mitchell’s Peep Show, Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story and Maria Callas: Masterclass.

The Late Show includes a champagne toast and countdown to the New Year!

Arts Ignite Richmond! A Broadway Spectacular

Conceived by Richmond local Dr. Keith Bell and Broadway’s Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Company, The Prom, Mean Girls), these artists invite an audience to witness a glimpse of Broadway’s living room, delving into their personal journeys and singing Broadway hits. With music supervision by acclaimed Music Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell, this exceptional performance will include the voices of Marissa Rosen (Legally Blonde, Footloose), Rueby Wood (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Disney’s Better Nate Than Ever), Melinda Doolittle (American Idol, Rockin on Heavens Door) and J Harrison Ghee (Kinky Boots, Mrs. Doubtfire, Netflix’s Raising Dion).

Richmond locals Scott Putman and Katherine Bell will be guest performers with RTP favorite Chris Hester serving as MC for the evening. The performance will be followed by a VIP reception.
